Twas pretty gloomy
Tuesday, August 30, 2005
Hoping today to be just another day , wake up in the morning and look outside the window to find it a bit dark outside. Check my clock and wonder, have I got up early today ? Nup, that wasn't the case .. the clouds in the sky and was it pouring ??
Not exactly ! It rained all night I believe, and its pretty difficult to inspire yourselves on a gloomy day (like today) . No wonder I reached work late, didnt feel like getting out of my bed but then it stuck me ... get up dude you gotta get going....
Late ? Indeed .. it was about 9.45 by the time I reached my desk. Managed to get in without getting myself drenched in the downpour, although its hardly 50 yards walk from the T-station, believe me it can get worse.
Day passed by pretty fast. Not like yesterday, maybe because was too much engrossed in the work. Sigh! Dont get enuf time to relax and get to know what's happening around me. My GK, of which I was proud of some years back keeps staring at me now. I bet I wont know most of the happenings around the world (except for sports ..which I keep track of - inadvertently) .. gotta do something ..
Would definitely try to give it a start tomorrow and as I look through the forcasts another cloudy morning awaits me, hope the day's activities wont be such and I'd be able to gather some strength from within myself. But I gotta ask myself, since when has this started bothering me ? To which I got no clue whatsoever .... Would be out to find an answer .. hopefull by this time tomorrow..

Stuck with my Alter Ego
Saturday, August 27, 2005
Now, I am not goin to argue what kind of a wave it is and what are its characteristics, cause I've been tortured enough by the light waves. Physicists have lost it trying to predict its nature (wave or particle) and so, I too give up.
The piece of chunk is a sleak device used to communicate ... a cellular phone, a mobile, a carry telephone or what ever you may call it. Well laziness had creeped into me and didnt want to look for a device called earphones to soothe my ears .. but beware you'd go .....What ? What? if you dont take care of those fellaws .... er ... impairment
Anyways had a dream of making the cell phone co. guys cry ( the commercials goin on TV where the guy supposedly yells out when his day time minutes are used.. tortured rather).. in a similar fashion. Good boy!! Am I successful till date ? I am close but would be by the time they'd have decided to give me a satellite phone ;-)
Now lemme take this opportunity to talk about another cool invention "the clock". I've noticed mine running faster from friday 5 pm to sunday 9 pm. I tried buying a new wrist watch for myself but then realised there's nothing wrong with my old one ... its just that its supposed to run that way (prooved by mathematicians). Y on this planet would one do that, is beyond my grasp. To account for this time loss they made matter worse by introducing Day light saving time and what not ? Sob ....
It feels bad when you know u've been betrayed.. left with no-one but your alter ego .. I'm in a fix right now. All of my friends out somewhere am stuck with this guy ( my alter ego) .. I am not in good terms with him (we haven't been talking since Friday evening !!) woke up on friday at 1 am to find him watching TV. I'm fed up.... moved my comp to the other room and let him stay where he was .. There! He's got all the room to his disposal .. But I should break the ice on Monday .. before that ? I still may and I still may .....I'm gonna wait it out.

Welcome to Deathball
Thursday, August 25, 2005
http://deathball.net/notpron .
Well, its started getting cold now-a-days. Dont know whether its a cold wave or the approaching winter. So soon? I dont buy that. But who knows how the pattern's change. Physicists are not able to grasp quantum mechanics, leave predicting the weather !!

The Copenhagen interpretation
Wednesday, August 24, 2005
So intriguing is the field that it has now prompted me to get to know more about it. Have been hooked to some very well written books viz Schrodinger's kittens and the search for reality, The ghost in the atom and Quantum reality - beyond the new physics.
Each explaining the paradoxes involved and the life of some good minds in the field.
On my way to work there's no better alternative but to listen to my ipod and continue with where I was left the previous day with my book. The ride from arlington to dwntwn boston is about 45 mins and enjoy each and every moment of it.
So here I am on pg 28 of the 3rd one ( pretty interesting so far) ...
Tomorrow with some deathball and notpron ;-)

The new found glory maybe? Its something like the wave function travelling backwards in time and making one believe in what he dreams. Its only when you try to measure/spot that it collapses and u end up with nothing.. in my case leaving me awake .
Now, come to think about it the ideas started flourishing from the White sox I believe and it creeped into the IIT bookstore too for a while then we had a ....what do you call it...serendipity. A phone call and that's it ..were on to it like ..I remember some years back we said "Do we need to say more" and then we made the "Chemical Symphony" and now here we are trying to make it happen in US which I couldn't have imagined in the wildest of my dreams.
Cut it short this is a cool blog and I welcome myself aboard ....its funny to remember things.. at this very moment its Kramer (from Seinfeld) that comes to my mind with his hanging hair from his head vis-a-vis leaves hanging from a coconut tree, and with his copyright duh..duh..duh ( while smoking a cuban cigar) and all his idiocy..

Got to Master this
Sunday, August 07, 2005
This might seem a bit odd. Never got an opp to play this game but hey then you got to start somewhere. Was not attracted to Golf anyways and although it used to be on the Idiot box always, couldnt ask myself to sit there and watch it.
Boston that way is a happening place. Dont know whether its something else but it definitely is the City. When I compare it with Chicago, I definitely find something different, the crowd, the lifestyle etc..etc... Not to deny being the home of Sox fans, might have an influence. But then hey White sox aint an easy opponent. Better lookout for them this time..
So instead of deviating from the topic got a chance to go to a driving range nearby. Had a cool time hitting the ball gave an awesome feeling as I watched it disappear 200-250 yards. After about 3 jumbo baskets and hitting about 200 tees, decided to return to base. Back of my mind was wondering how tomorrow's gonna be. Aint any muscle in my body that wont feel bite the dust but its all part of the game, I guess...
