I know the pieces fit 'cause I watched them fall away and I've done the math enuf to know the danger's of a second guessing.

Rang De Basanti
Squeezed myself to the RDB club today. Last day last show @ the Somerville theater and we decided its enuf procrastination. Would have regreted and wouldn't have gotten another chance to watch it on the wide-screen !
Hmm ... fabulous movie it is and after a long time enjoyed the whole 2 hr 45 min, probably the first time after "The Legend Of Bhagat Singh" (the Ajay Devgan one). 10 bucks worth spent !! The story and direction is pretty cool. Dilli has been portrayed as the very best (which it is) and the scenic beauties are amazing. Songs - pretty cool, though had already listened to them on Raaga. Acting - good performances, of course Hindi slang (collegiate dialect) is like "soney pe suhaaga" and reminded me of the Undergrad days ... Oye' teri pen' di yeh hindi jaanti hai yaar ....
Climax was a bit ~ ahem ... though conceivable (or no?). On the one hand it shows how life can change before you even know what's happening around you and on the other conveys a message wide and clear - do something to change the current situation, anything that you are capable of !!

@ Amrita - Yup I had to see it didnt I ? Dilli's cool and so was the movie :)

@ Rpm - Thanks ! ha ha the "Maa ki aankh" dialogue was unexpected at that moment ;). A bit of punjabi slang in hindi always sounds 'something' !!
