Now, they have put up a billboard on the Mass. Turnpike that say's "Welcome to Massachusetts - You're more likely to live here". Although I have seen this many-a-times, havent ever thought of it and never felt like looking for the other half of the billboard.
The 252 foot long billboard meant that You are more likely to live in Massachusetts, because the assault weapon ban here has made it one of the states where you are least likely to get shot.
On the contrary "The Sunshine State - Florida" has a different story altogether. They say "Welcome to Florida! Wish you weren't shot". This is 'cause you gotta be careful now-a-days heading down to florida. After the bill passed last year, its now legal for anyone to shoot you first if they at all feel threatened. Dare to look at someone the wrong way? Gotta take some lead home with you. Well that's what they say .....
