I know the pieces fit 'cause I watched them fall away and I've done the math enuf to know the danger's of a second guessing.

Ahem .... Google's Video Store

Web giant Google is to start selling video online, opening the www freaks to search (google) and buy videos ( including TV shows and more). Amazing eh? Am sure you guys would have probably started using it already .. Now, this would be a giant leap by the co. and they clearly intend to explore the idea of selling video on the net. Apple still leads the way with its online store iTunes offering nominal charges of $1.99 for each video and 99 cents for each song downloaded.

How much of a success this would be needs to be seen. With the number of users accessing videos online shooting up rapidly and backed by a powerful search engine, Google would be expecting to take over Apple pretty soon. Statistics show a 58% increase in traffic over the last month ( unique hits of about 2.6 million as compared to an earlier 1.6 million hits).

hmm ... I personally haven't been buying any stuff from iTunes yet (thanks to an excellent collection of music) but would consider buying some if the prices are cheap (the NBA finals for eg. or the Superbowl for that matter) ...
